Knowing Jesus is the most important issue in life. The Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ is the door to Heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The message of our music and the theme of our lives is the love of God which can be yours through Jesus.
Please take the time to consider the following truths. As you do, open your heart to what the Lord is saying to you.
Truth # 1 - YOU ARE A SINNER
Really, none of us would argue this point, would we? We know that we are not perfect people. In many ways, and more times than we can count, we have sinned against God and other people. The scripture affirms this truth.
Rom 3:10, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
Rom 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Truth # 2 - GOD IS HOLY
While we are surely sinners, God is completely holy. The word holy means that God is perfectly sinless and sacred. We have been created in God's image, but God is not like us, therefore He is separate from us. Our sinfulness has caused this separation, which the Bible calls eternal death.
Rom 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Rom 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
Truth # 3 - GOD LOVES YOU
This is certainly the greatest news a world of sinners has ever heard! God loves us too much to leave us in our sin. You are loved passionately by our Heavenly Father, regardless of your past sins or present failures!
Rom 5:8, "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Truth # 4 - JESUS WILL SAVE YOU FROM YOUR SIN
When Jesus died on the cross, He was dying for you. Remember truth # 2, God is holy, therefore our sin brought about death or separation from God. Without Jesus, we remain spiritually dead until we die physically. Those who come to the end of this life without Christ die eternally! But Jesus loves you too much to let that happen. He went to the cross to take God's judgment for you. His death was God's substitute for you, making it possible for you to live forever.
Three days after Jesus died on the cross, He rose again as the final victor over death and hell. He lives today as our savior and He is inviting you to find new life in Him.
Rom 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Rom 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
I know from experience the hardest thing to do is to swallow your pride and confess that you are a sinner to Christ, but friend it will be the BEST thing you will ever do!
